I met these two in the summer of 2012
They came from Malibu California. I was looking for another trainer at my studio and found out she was a level 1 and immediately brought her in to work with me. I soon met her future husband Jonny back in Cali during the 2012 CrossFit Games. These two wonderful souls have been such a blessing in my life.
They have decided to take another step in their journey and make another transition and move again. I cant thank Jess enough for all her help with the studio and XRE. She was there for me in a very difficult time that I kept pretty close to the chest. Without her belief in what I was trying to do, I don’t know what my situation would look like right now. I can’t thank her enough.
And to Jonny, literally the most kind, thoughtful, unselfish person I have met ever. He has a magnetic personality that draws you in and allows you to “lower your guard”. Authentic, lovable, and friendly, are qualities that I admire about him.

This summer, I was fortunate enough to see these two tie the knot. It was on a beautiful ranch out in the middle of nowhere Wyoming. It took 2 hours just to drive out there from the town we were in. In the ceremony. The preacher referenced CrossFit during the ceremony…I saw Jess smile and glipse at me when he did. Neither one of us knew he was going to.
I want to wish the best for these two and hope the future holds many blessings for them.
