So I was not in the mood AT ALL to work out today. Going to the Thunder game last night and getting home at 11 to wake up and coach at 6am left me a little tired. Plus with this drizzly weather, it just added to my melancholy mood. I’ve been taking Nov as a “recovery month” from the Battle Over the Redlands in Tulsa. I have cut back on my training immensely. I’ve found myself scaling the intensity back as well.
Word of advice. If you dont feel like working out but you know you need to. JUST MOVE. Dont even worry about a score or time. There have been plenty of times where Ive gone into the garage and done a 12 min AMRAP slowly with just body weight movements. I’ve “walked through” Fran I don’t know how many times. Sometimes just moving gets the blood flowing and your heart rate up just enough to get the endorphins flowing and puts you in a better mood.
